How to host Legion TD on playdota.eu bot ?
Step 1: join channel
Go to channel playdota.eu on server EuroBattle or FawkzBNET

Step 2: choose which map
Whisper "/w PlayDota.eu .map Legion TD Mega 3.3.w3x"

Step 3: start game, with your own game name
Whisper "/w PlayDota.eu .gopub Legion TD Mega -ap"

Note: you must use .gopub for custom games(!gopub is for Dota only).

How to enter mode in lobby/Hostbot setting ?

Option 1:
open config file and add the line below:
map_defaulthcl = apggcb

Option 1:
in lobby (waiting for player join before game start), type :
.hcl apggcb

Note:
1, you can only type 1 character per player(include computer). so if it is 4v4, max character is 10
2, you don't need to type "-" at begin
3, HG, X3 is default(not need to type)
4, if mode string is too long, you can you short-cut mode. eg: you can replace "ggmm" with "gm"

here is list of mode combo that can replace with shorter mode:
gm = gg +mm
gc = gg +cb
gl = gg +li
cl = cb +li

for example: ".hcl apgmcl" will give "-apggmmcblihgx3"

our goals are to keep close to original races, add new ones and more content, but also reducing lags (good deal of work is already done on this topic).

however, there is no thing as too little lag, so if you're experienced map-maker interested in some form of collaboration, please pm me...

(we have elf race done as in 1.60b, for instance)
i hope to meet tall, dark stranger, proficient in worldedit or triggering (MUI and/or vJass) or modeling/texturing or creating special effects and general beautification of map. in fact, there could be several tall, dark strangers.

limit workers not happening.... NEVER, possibly make a version of ltdw (from the one i and others are working on) called "learners version" or something like that- as this is much easier, as a whole, and is geared towards newer players
what is this? and why can i make it 5000 characters? isn't that a bit much.... maybe later i will make a 5000 character essay on why 5000 characters is to much

update work done from last couple days:

Worker system:
- change worker to wisp
- limited to 7 wisp(cannot train more than 7)
- add 10 lumber upgrade
- wisp have 10% slower lumber rate than worker for same cost, but research will catch up
- add elf farm that can upgrade 10 time(or 9)

Summon:
- change cooldown timer for summon, cooldown = lumber cost /2 (eg kraken=30 second, warlock=15 second)

Elf :
- add elf to 1.50b

- all collision over 30 have been lower to 20-35 (eg, doppganger 65->25, Tree have 85->35)
- AE spell, will try put damage cap or target cap
- AE aura, will try change to self aura (for damage aura)
- add or change hybrid -> assign random unit to builder after pick,(rather than assign random build when building)
- picking hero cost gold, random hero are free ! (similar to dota)

about lag, I notice game getting more and more laggy in later stage. after check the code, I notice LISK doing well for call RemoveLocation (udg_Temp_Point) . but he rarely use DestroyGroup (udg_Temp_Group) , or call DestroyTimer( udg_Your_Variable ) and call DestroyTrigger( GetTriggeringTrigger() ).

I will see if it can reduce lag by try destory everything that only hapen once

Mathematics vs Statistics .....

my data may be wrong, I will collect more when I got time. I don't trust your data because it base on small sample with rounding occur, I want to collecting data through observation, eg build 20 worker without upgrade, send them to lumber, pick a random time to start measure(by set lumber = 0 and start stop watch), 5 minutes should be enough because it is bia rate is very small (eg 20-50 lumber is small % compare to 2000+ lumber in total)


anyway my wisp system is done. it is easy to adjust if my formula is wrong.

you are right, I just done 10 more test, and get 4.7-4.75 for 20 worker. so it is about 0.24 per second(per worker).

I will adjust my wisp setting to match your data :

wisp lumber rate = 2 lumber every 10 second
wisp upgrade cost: 100 gold, 20 level(or 15 level ?)
wisp have 20% slower rate at beginning, 10% around 12-15 and become better after 20 worker. this result slightly nerfed to income rate(in early game) but player still have same or higher lumber rate during end game

what is this? and why can i make it 5000 characters? isn't that a bit much.... maybe later i will make a 5000 character essay on why 5000 characters is to much
